The National Weather Service has issued a freezing rain advisory for the Vancouver area and remains in effect until 6 p.m. today.

Light freezing rain is likely for the Portland and Vancouver area this morning, bringing up to two-tenths of an inch of accumulation.

Motorists should expect roads to be slick in some spots and to be prepared by slowing down and using caution while driving.
