Clark Talks tackles the outdoors

By Dameon Pesanti, Columbian staff writer, and
Katie Gillespie, Columbian Education Reporter

This week’s new episode of Clark Talks reminds you that even when the weather outside is frightful, outdoor recreation activities are still delightful in the Pacific Northwest.

This week, Kaitlin Gillespie and Dameon Pesanti interview Al Thomas, The Columbian’s longtime outdoors reporter, about places to go when the snow is falling and how to get outside. Then, Camas Bike & Sport owner Ed Fischer discusses the growing popularity of fat-tire bikes, a way for you to get out on two wheels even when snow is falling.

Clark Talks is The Columbian’s weekly podcast in which the newspaper’s reporters bring you the stories and views behind the news. The podcast is free and can be found online at www.columbian.com every Thursday, or downloaded and subscribed to on Soundcloud, Stitcher and iTunes.
