The whole community bleeds a little every time a police officer is shot. Black Lives Matter, Hands Up Don’t Shoot and other liberal movements must accept their role in those deaths of not only police officers, but the suspects that are shot.
These movements have emboldened and encouraged members of your communities to break the laws that officers are sworn to uphold, disregard lawful orders given to them by officers in the field and to take the lives of people who are sworn to uphold the laws of their communities. Their actions have created a fear in the police community that requires them to be more sensitive to situations that may present a threat to their lives.
It is often said that an officer would rather be tried by 12 then carried by six. It is well-documented that the majority of the deaths of minorities occur at the hands of members of that community. If you are truly concerned about black lives you need to work with your local police and cooperate in the investigations and apprehensions of those who shoot your children. You need to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.
