The Papermakers lost some key contributors to graduation and all-league guard Jake Hansel to health issues. But Camas looks to compete for a playoff spot behind senior guards Tanner Fogle and Alex Glikbarg

The Storm return three starters and seven players with significant experience, led by senior guard Taylor Harbertson and senior post Skyler Martin. Cole Grossman arrives from Battle Ground to add height and athleticism.

UNION

The Titans are the favorites with All-Region player of the year Cameron Cranston leading the way. Junior Kai Gamble will look to fill voids in the paint and open space up for guards Keithen Shepard, Tyler Combs, Zach Reznick.

3A Greater St. Helens

EVERGREEN

The Plainsmen make the move to the 3A GSHL with an experienced lineup that includes three-year varsity letter winners Payton Monda, John Hansberry and Dustin Nettles. Also, Brock Schoene arrives from Seton Catholic.

FORT VANCOUVER

The Trappers have three returning starters, led by second-team all-league picks Kyron Lowe-Ash and James Husband Jr. Senior Miracle Alford-Lewis also returns and junior Johnny Green arrived from Texas, making the Trappers a dangerous team.

HUDSON’S BAY

The Eagles bring back an experienced lineup led by senior point guard Quentin Raynor, senior post Jordan Hickman and junior guard Quadrese Teague. Coach Theo Mikaele believes the year of varsity experience last year will help the Eagles this season.

KELSO

The Hilanders bring back two sophomores who were all-league picks as freshmen Shaw Anderson and Riley Noah. The rest of the lineup is made up of juniors and seniors, giving Kelso an experience lineup.

MOUNTAIN VIEW

Thunder are young, but talented and experienced. Darien Chase averaged 9 points and 9 rebounds as a freshman, and Alex Bailey averaged 11 points as a sophomore. Junior forward Alex Hegel gives the team balance on floor.

PRAIRIE

First-team all-league players Greg Bernash and Seth Hall return for their senior seasons. Dwayne Stewart and Matthew Kogler, both 6-7, provide size and sophomore Kam Osborn could be one of the top guards in the region, making the Falcons a favorite in the 3A GSHL.

2A Greater St. Helens

COLUMBIA RIVER

The Chieftains move to the 2A GSHL with a talented lineup led by 3A GSHL player of the year Spencer Long and all-league first teamer Jacob Hjort. Spencer Black was a leading rebounder and a second-team all-league pick.

HOCKINSON

Ry Paulsen, a second-team all-league pick last season, is one of four returning starters on roster that will include three freshmen this season. So look for the Hawks to improve as season progresses.
