Vancouver-based Columbia Credit Union announced Tuesday it will award a $2,488 grant to Innovative Services N.W.

The Vancouver organization, founded in 1963, provides childcare, early learning and therapy for children in need. It also works closely with adults with disabilities, offering jobs training and support, among other things.

The grant will reportedly be used to update kits used by therapists at the organization’s Pediatric Therapy and Neurodevelopmental Center. The funding was presented in a check Dec. 9, according to the announcement.
