Battle Ground – Battle Ground City Councilor Mike Dalesandro announced that he will seek re-election for position No. 5 in November. Dalesandro, who has been on the council since 2013, is also a member of the C-Tran Board of Directors and Regional Transportation Council.

In his re-election announcement, Dalesandro said he is an advocate for responsible spending. He also thinks Battle Ground should invest in projects that will accommodate growth, such as the already-planned South Parkway and Main Street improvements. He would also like to see more family-wage jobs in Battle Ground.

Dalesandro is a supply chain analyst for Boise Paper in Vancouver. He scored 36.31 percent of the vote in 2015’s election for Clark County council chair, finishing second to Marc Boldt’s 39.08 percent.
