Initial plans were submitted last week to the city of Vancouver for a 78-unit apartment complex at 2001 N.E. 112th Ave. in Vancouver.

The 3.5-acre complex, called 112th Avenue Apartments, would replace a single-family home while preserving another.

The city and developer Kevin Cooley Architects will discuss the plans later this month before the formal application process kicks off.
