Vancouver police are investigating after a Shumway convenience store was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night.

A man entered the Am/PM, 3817 Main St., at about 8:30 p.m., displayed a weapon and robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of cash, Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said.

Police searched the area with the assistance from a K9 unit, but did not locate the suspect, described as a black man, medium build and wearing a disguise over his face, Kapp said.

Anyone with information about the incident or identity of the suspect is asked to contact Vancouver police at 360-487-7399.
