Letter: We deserve better representation

I received Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler’s, R-Camas, newsletter. Once again, I question why I even waste my time reading all of the propaganda she proclaims. Our representative was busy patting herself on the back for basically wasting millions of dollars in taxpayer funds on her 60-some times voting to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare as it’s primarily known.

The propaganda states how the GOP has a better plan, when in reality they have no approved plan. House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., now promises to finally come up with a replacement. Yeah, right. We, the people of Southwest Washington, deserve better than this. It makes far more sense to repeal and replace Jaime Herrera Beutler.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
