PORTLAND — Portland police say a woman either fell or jumped from a building in downtown Portland on Saturday afternoon. The Oregonian reports there are no indications of foul play involved in her death.

Police spokesman Sgt. Pete Simpson says officers were called to a building near Pioneer Courthouse Square around 12:45 p.m.

Simpson says witness accounts suggest the woman fell at least five stories. The medical examiner is investigating.

The death comes six months after a Hillsboro woman jumped from the top of the nearby Standard Insurance Center, narrowly missing two pedestrians.
