Gifford Pinchot National Forest snow report 2/11

Mount St. Helens — Twelve inches of snow at Cougar Sno-Park and 24 inches at Marble Mountain Sno-Park. Both sites are losing snow with the warmer weather. Road No. 83 and the parking lots were free of snow as of Wednesday.

At June Lake, the snow depth was 71 inches on Wednesday. That’s 10 fewer inches than a week ago.

Upper Wind River — About 4 feet of snow at Oldman Pass, McClellan Meadows, Koshko and Lone Butte sno-parks. About 10 inches of snow remain at Government Mineral Springs.

Mount Adams — Two feet of snow at Pineside Sno-Park. Ski trails are icy in the mornings. Grooming scheduled for Friday or Saturday. SnowKing, Atkisson and Flattop sno-parks have about 3 feet of snow.

The automated reporting site at Surprise Lakes, elevation 4,290 feet, reports 96 inches, down 4 inches in the past week.
