Girls basketball: Skyview 61, Battle Ground 45

The Storm grinded out a win to eliminate Battle Ground from the 4A District 4 Tournament and advance to the championship game.

Sydney Friauf had 13 points and 11 rebounds as part of a balanced team effort for Skyview (17-4), which dominated the rebounds.

Riley Friauf had 14 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, Ashlee Comastro had 13 rebounds to go with seven points, and Maddie Lord had nine rebounds and eight points.

Grace Russell lead Battle Ground (7-14) in scoring with 14 points.

Skyview will face Camas at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Battle Ground High for the district title.
