Wiltjer, Sabonis lead Gonzaga past Portland

PORTLAND — Kyle Wiltjer had five 3-pointers and 21 points, Domantas Sabonis had a double-double and Gonzaga rolled to a 92-66 win over Portland on Thursday night at the Chiles Center.

Sabonis had 17 points and 11 rebounds for his 15th double-double, his seventh in his last eight games.

Kyle Dranginis added 16 points, Eric McClellan 14 and Silas Melson had 13 for the Bulldogs (20-5, 12-2 West Coast Conference), who have won six straight to reach 20 wins for the 19th consecutive season. Josh Perkins had a career-high nine assists.

Gonzaga shot 54 percent in the first half, hitting seven 3s, to lead 44-35. The Bulldogs then knocked down four-straight triples, two by Wiltjer, to push the lead to 56-36. They were 8 of 10 on 3s in the second half when they shot 60 percent overall, 15 of 26 for the game.

Jarrel Marshall had a career-high 25 points for the Pilots (11-16, 5-9), who were 3 of 22 behind the arc.
