Bonneville COO announces retirement date

Claudia Andrews, the Portland-based Bonneville Power Administration’s chief operating officer, said this week that she will retire from the federal agency effective Sept. 30.

Andrews is responsible for BPA’s Power Services; Transmission Services; Environment, Fish and Wildlife; Customer Support Services; and Information Technology units. She has been COO since February 2014 and has worked at BPA since 1990.

BPA sells wholesale electricity from 31 federal dams and one nuclear plant to 142 Northwest electric utilities, including Clark Public Utilities.
