H&M coming to Vancouver Mall in fall

VANCOUVER — The popular clothing retailer H&M announced Tuesday it would be opening a location at the Vancouver Mall this fall, confirming earlier news that it had been identified as a possible tenant for the vacated Nordstrom space.

The store will take up 20,000 square feet at the mall, according to a company press release.

H&M says it offers “fashion-forward apparel at affordable prices in a sustainable way” for men, women and children at more than 400 stores worldwide.

The announcement of the new location caps speculation of the retailer’s move that began with news of the mall’s sale to Centennial Real Estate Co. in August.
