Tax workshop for new, small businesses Jan. 20

The state Department of Revenue is hosting a free workshop Jan. 20 to help new and small business owners understand Washington’s tax system.

Attendees will learn what’s required for paying, reporting and record-keeping. They can receive a continuing professional education credit as well as a workbook and reference guide.

The workshop takes place from 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 20 at the Department of Revenue’s office at 8008 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver.
