Clark County — Dr. Gretchen Schnepper opened The Modern Orthodontist in 2010, and for the last four years, she has put out a community calendar featuring artwork from local students and patients.

This year, her practice received more than 100 submissions from patients and students in the Vancouver, Evergreen and Battle Ground school districts.

One picture per month was selected for the calendar, and another one was picked as the cover image. Each artist with a picture selected received calendars for their family and classmates, and a gift card to an art supply store.

Representatives from The Modern Orthodontist delivered calendars to the students featured inside and their classes.
