Vancouver — Open beading sessions now are a regular part of the free First Friday events at the Clark County Historical Museum.

The museum, 1511 Main St., is open from 5 to 9 p.m. as part of downtown Vancouver’s First Friday Art Walk.

Beaders are invited to bring their projects to the museum for a social activity, not a class. Visitors are also invited to see work by past and current masters of the craft in a new exhibition, “Making Beauty: Native Beadwork of North America.”

While admission is waived for First Fridays, donations are appreciated. For more information, contact the museum at 360-993-5679 or at cchm@cchmuseum.org.
