Girls basketball: Skyview 48, Mountain View 25

Skyview controlled the boards and its defense controlled the game.

Sydney Friauf had 14 points and nine rebounds for the Storm, which outrebounded Mountain View 37-18.

Skyview’s defense held Mountain View to single-digits in each quarter and limited top scorer Hailey Hartney to eight points.

Skyview coach Jennifer Buscher highlighted the defense of Hanna Van Nortwick, who had five steals.

Ashlee Comastro added 15 points and seven rebounds.

Skyview improved to 11-4 and 7-0 in the 4A Greater St. Helens League. Mountain View fell to 10-6 and 4-4.
