Boys basketball: Camas 70, Battle Ground 61

The Camas Papermakers held on for a hard-fought win over Battle Ground Monday, 70-61.

Ethan Unger scored a game-high 28 points, including some big plays late in the game.

His 3-point play when the game was tied at 50 was a pivotal moment in the game.

From that point on, the Papermakers lead never got lower than 3-point despite Battle Ground’s best efforts.

Unger converted on all nine of his free-throw attempts including five in the fourth quarter.

Daelon Floyd scored 23 points to lead Battle Ground with 16 of them coming in the second half.

Tanner Fogle also came through big for Camas late in the game.

Fogle scored six of his eight points on 2 3-pointers in the final two minutes to keep Battle Ground at arms length.

Kobe Ford scored 19 points for Battle Ground in the loss.
