Boys basketball: Union 68, Heritage 47

The Union Titans epic first quarter propelled them to a 68-47 home victory over Heritage.

Cameron Cranston scored 12 of his 20 points in the first quarter where the Titans hung 30 points on the Timberwolves.

Denis Kirichenko chipped in with a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Cranston also got four steals on the night, just a small chunk of the 23 turnovers the Titans caused as a team.

Heritage hit 10 3-pointers, six of which came in the second half.
