Papa Murphy’s, the Vancouver-based chain of take-and-bake pizza shops, announced Monday it will use antibiotic-free chicken.

“Introducing chicken raised without antibiotics to our menu is a natural step for our brand, and we are excited to offer customers delicious, vegetarian-fed chicken that they can feel good about serving their families,” said Brandon Solano, Papa Murphy’s chief marketing officer, in a statement.

The company is moving to eliminate artificial flavors and colors from menus by next year and phase out palm oil and high-fructose corn syrup by this fall.
