Fire damages house near Yacolt

Fire damaged a house near Yacolt on Friday night.

The fire was reported at 8:38 p.m. at 22681 N.E. Worthington Road. Smoke was reported coming from the residence, a 776-square-foot house built in 1936, according to county property records.

Crews from Clark County Fire District 10 arrived and brought the fire under control by 8:57 p.m.

They reported the house was unoccupied, according to radio traffic.

The fire is under investigation by the Clark County Fire Marshall’s Office.

The house is owned by Jack Schumacher of Heisson, according to property records.
