The state Workforce Board on Friday announced it is offering fully paid tuition for online manufacturing training. The deadline to apply for fall classes through Washington State University is Monday, though the funding will be available for upcoming spring and summer semesters as well as fall 2017.

A $2.7 million federal grant is paying for the “Make it in Washington” program, which aims to “boost the skills of those who work at small and midsized manufacturers in 31 rural Washington counties, including Clark,” according to a press release.
