Letter: Group supports the best people

Kenneth P. Campbell’s speculation about the people and purpose of the No More Madore campaign is mistaken (“Follow the money in county races,” July 20, letters). Potholes, parks, and pets don’t know political parties.

Most county government isn’t political. Voters want competency, civility, and cost-effectiveness. Our organizers and donors are independents, Democrats, and Republicans, working together. Our only goal is defeating David Madore and Eileen Quiring to restore civility and focus in government. Enough name-calling, blaming, and thuggery.

We support John Blom and Jennifer McDaniel because of their proven experience and ability to work well with others. This election isn’t about party; it’s about picking the best people.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
