Ex-counselor admits to sex with juvenile detention resident

SEATTLE (AP) — A woman who worked as a counselor at a Washington state juvenile detention center has pleaded guilty to having sex with an 18-year-old resident of the facility.

KOMO-TV reports that Erin Stiebritz pleaded guilty Wednesday to first-degree custodial sexual misconduct.

Court documents say Washington State Patrol investigators talked to the 18-year-old, who admitted to having a sexual relationship with Stiebritz.
