Letter: McDevitt is the noninsider choice

When challenged, Democrats claim that they support Jim Moeller, an establishment candidate, because they are realistic; it takes money and connections to win elections.

Our most serious problem is corporate tyranny, control the elite have over our government, media and, therefore, the public perception of reality. Votes win elections. If everyone who wanted to change this broken system would tell everyone they know that David McDevitt is funded by the people and that Moeller is funded by the Democratic National Committee, the right candidate would represent us.

Both sides of the aisle are controlled by the same people. Each election cycle, we hear fake candidates talk about how they want to help the middle and lower class, only to get into office and do the bidding of the elite.

Elect people who will fight this corruption, not contribute to it. David McDevitt will work to stop Trans-Pacific Partnership and other ploys that drain the middle class.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
