Letter: Gillespie builds trust

I’m a strong proponent of Kathy Gillespie for state representative, District 18. I’m tired of political game playing with taxpayers’ money. Gillespie has a long career of service for our community, as a school board member for seven years. Her experience raising money for schools has made her an advocate for responsible spending and investment.

I’ve worked side-by-side with Gillespie, educating citizens on gun safety. She is someone I trust because she works to build partnerships, collaborating for solutions. After four long years of divisiveness and hostility, I’m ready for a change in leadership. We need Kathy Gillespie in Olympia, leading Clark County through the issues facing us today and in the future.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
