Long-term care companies set career fair for June 29

Nearly 40 long-term care companies in the Portland metro area will promote job openings at a career fair June 29 near Portland International Airport.

The positions are in medical care and other services for children and adults living with chronic health problems. Long-term care jobs and careers include opportunities in nursing, caregiving, culinary, skilled trades, housekeeping and administration. Those who wish to work in the industry can meet with professionals from in-home care, assisted living, and rehabilitation companies, among others.

The June 29 event is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Portland Airport, 8439 N.E. Columbia Blvd. in Portland. Registration and information, including a list of companies that will be at the event, are at www.Ltcjobcareerfair.eventbrite.com.

Attendees should bring r?sum?s, dress for an interview and be prepared to speak with employers.
