ARLINGTON, Va. — Police have arrested a man who they say bit a woman’s finger during a road rage incident in Arlington.

Local media outlets report 36-year-old Markeater Holyroyd was driving in South Arlington on Wednesday with her son when 55-year-old Timothy Dubois shouted at her. He then allegedly threw something at her car, but the woman kept driving.

When she stopped, Arlington County police say Dubois came up to the driver’s side of her car and assaulted her. Holyroyd opened the door and Dubois bit her finger.

A witness took a picture of Dubois’s license plate before he drove away.

Police arrested Dubois at his home on charges of malicious wounding, assault and battery and driving under the influence.

It’s unclear if Dubois has an attorney.
