Late-night drivers should plan for some delays and closures on state Highway 500 in Vancouver starting Sunday.

Maintenance crews from the Washington Department of Transportation will close lanes and ramps from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on both directions of Highway 500 between Interstate 5 and Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard for pavement repair. The work depends on good weather and could be rescheduled.

The schedule:

• Sunday-Tuesday: One lane of eastbound Highway 500 near Northeast Andresen Road and the Andresen Road onramp.

• Tuesday-Thursday: Up to two lanes of eastbound Highway 500 near Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard.

• Sunday-Monday, June 20, up to two lanes of westbound Highway 500 near Northeast Thurston Way. Also, the southbound Interstate 205 offramp to westbound Highway 500 and the westbound Highway 500 offramp to southbound I-205.

• Monday, June 20-Tuesday, June 21, westbound Highway 500 offramp to Northeast Andresen Road.

• Tuesday, June 21-Wednesday, June 22, all lanes of eastbound Highway 500 will be closed between I-5 and East 15th Street.

Drivers should plan on driving different routes during the closure.
