See the growth of Clark County’s wine-, beer- and spirit-makers during the Craft Beer and Winefest. Open from noon to 10 p.m. today and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, visitors can bring canned food to donate for Share and receive $5 off entry at Esther Short Park, 301 W. Eighth St., Vancouver. Head over to the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, 1011 E. Fifth St., Vancouver, and gather some outdoor inspiration for your summer during Get Outdoors Day. Organizations that focus on local parks, national forests and more will be on hand to share trip ideas, activities and skills. Children can learn to cast a fishing line, nock an arrow on a bowstring or, if you head over to the Brigade Encampment, throw an ax like an1840s fur trapper. Many activities will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today along East Fifth Street. It’s all about the kids at today’s Camtown Youth Festival, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Crown Park, Northeast 15th and Everett streets, Camas. Aimed at children ages 3 to 16, there will be a variety of games, crafts and entertainment, including a petting zoo and a kids flea market. The Golden Rule will visit Vancouver June 17 and 18 at Terminal One, 100 Columbia St., Vancouver. In 1958, a crew of Quaker peace activists attempted to sail the sailboat to the Marshall Islands to interfere with U.S. nuclear bomb testing. The Golden Rule will be open to the public for tours and conversations with the crew from 1 to 5 p.m. June 17 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 18. Admission is free. 360-696-4840.

Camas Bike and Sport puts on Race for the Future, an off-road bicycle race, starting at 8:30 a.m. June 18 at the Washougal MX Park, 40205 N.E. Borin Road, Washougal. Proceeds from the race will support high school and middle school mountain bike programs. Northwest Classical Ballet presents Spring Overture, a production featuring pieces from “Cinderella,” “Under the Moonlight” and other new dance works that mix classical and contemporary ballet. This year’s local Juneteenth celebration put on by the Vancouver chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People will include activities, entertainment, local vendors and a Sweet Potato Pie contest. Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. The celebration runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 18 at Marshall Park, 1015 E. In conjunction with the Vancouver USA Marathon festivities, the three-day Summer Brewfest features more than 20 breweries, including many breweries from Clark County’s growing craft beer scene. The brewfest will have a canned food drive for Share, with two cans of food saving $2 on admission. The Summer Brewfest runs 3 to 10 p.m. June 17, noon to 10 p.m. June 18, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 19 at Esther Short Park, 301 W. Eighth St., Vancouver. Vancouver Urban Forestry will sponsor a Heritage Tree Bike Ride, a tour 10 of the city’s heritage trees along a 4-mile guided bicycle ride, starting and ending at Esther Short Park, at 6 p.m. June 23. With the Bigfoot Fun Run, the town of Yacolt invites racers to meet Bigfoot, with 5K and 10K routes beginning from Town Hall, 202 W. Cushman St., Yacolt, and heading out and back on north-county roads. Trophies will be awarded for first place male and female finishers.
