OLYMPIA — The Thurston County Sheriff’s say detectives have found human remains believed to a 60-year-old Olympia woman reported missing this month.
The office said detectives believe they found the remains of Gail Doyle Saturday while searching a refuse site in a remote location in Washington. Tests are pending to confirm the identification.
Investigators said Doyle was last seen arguing with 66-year-old James Stidd at a tavern on June 2.
The Olympian newspaper says a Thurston County Superior Court judge on Friday ordered Stidd held on $2 million bail for investigation of second-degree murder and gun charges.
