The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.

In February, the Medical Commission charged physician Eric A. Doerfler with unprofessional conduct. Doerfler allegedly provided substandard care to a chronic pain patient, and inadequately supervised a physician assistant.

In February, the Chemical Dependency Professional program charged chemical dependency professional Matthew Eastman-Pittam with unprofessional conduct. Eastman-Pittam allegedly didn’t comply with requirements to submit a report from a psycho-sexual evaluation and a supervisor’s report.

In March, the Unlicensed Practice Program notified Enrique A. Kindermann of its intent to issue a cease-and-desist order. Kindermann doesn’t have a massage practitioner license, but allegedly advertised massage and reflexology, and offered to provide massage treatment.

In January, the East Asian Medicine Program amended a statement of charges against East Asian medicine practitioner Kooyeoll Jung to add that Jung pleaded guilty to indecent liberties — without forcible compulsion in 2015.

In February, the secretary of health ended conditions on the credential of certified nursing assistant Destini Dawn Shuemaker.
