AUBURN — A body police believe to be a missing man has been found in his burned home in Auburn.

KCPQ-TV reports that detectives have been investigating an early Monday morning fire at the home which left homeowner Kevin Holle unaccounted for. Firefighters weren’t able to enter until Tuesday due to unsafe conditions.

Auburn Police Commander Steve Stocker says a body was recovered from the home Tuesday and is believed to be that of Holle.

A medical examiner will confirm the identity.
