Did you hear that big roar Tuesday? Yeah, that was March making a grand entrance. Hoo-boy, talk about coming in like a lion! Guess we’ll have to wait and see if March retreats with a series of bleats or growls.
One thing that won’t retreat quietly is the fact that this is Women’s History Month. “I am woman, hear me roar!” sang Helen Reddy, so I’ll continue in this powerful vein by sending out a hearty “ROWR” to all women everywhere. And to readers of this column, I invite all genders to get your “roar” on by going to the library and checking out a book or two about womankind. I know I have a dog in the fight (can I say “cat” instead?), but basically, women rock.
