A local fitness club is hosting a daylong event with a personal trainer who has worked with reality TV show contestants.

Personal trainer Laurie Graves has worked with contestants on “The Biggest Loser” and “Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition.” This month, she’ll be the featured guest at a daylong event in Vancouver.

The Be Fit Club — a free fitness group based at Living Hope Church — is hosting the event from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Living Hope Church, 2711 N.E. Andresen Road.

The event will include a morning workout and afternoon coaching in grocery shopping, functional training, fitness education and cooking on a tight budget. Lunch will be provided.

The event costs $15 for those who pre-register, $10 for children 8 to 15 years old and $20 at the door. Pre-register at www.livinghopechurch.com/health-and-wellness
