NEW YORK (AP) — The next book about Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will be straight from the “Notorious RBG” herself.
Simon & Schuster announced Thursday that Ginsburg’s “My Own Words,” a collection of speeches and writings, will come out in January. Ginsburg, who turns 83 this week, will help select the material and provide an introduction.
Ginsburg’s authorized biographers, Mary Hartnett and Wendy W. Williams, also will contribute introductions, along with excerpts from interviews they have conducted with the justice. Simon & Schuster will publish their Ginsburg book but hasn’t set a release date.
Ginsburg already is the subject of a best-selling biography, last year’s “Notorious RBG,” by Irin Cannon and Shana Knizhnik.
