Interactive technologies “augmented reality” and “virtual reality” are changing the business landscape.

Explore how to use these technologies to your advantage at Washington State University Vancouver’s spring Chancellor’s Seminar Series, “Reality Check: Technologies That Will Change the Way We Work and Think” from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 1 in the Firstenburg Student Commons on campus, 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave.

Dene Grigar, digital media artist, curator and director of WSU Vancouver’s Creative Media and Digital Culture program, will discuss her research projects and potential business applications of the technologies.

Nathan Stahlman, chief operating officer at Instructional Technologies, Inc., a provider of computer-based interactive driver training, will talk about ITI using virtual reality in its training products for drivers and heavy-equipment operators.

Tickets are $25 per person and include lunch, lecture and parking. For reservations, visit vancouver.wsu.edu/css or call 360-546-9589.
