COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. — A man who Lane County authorities feared was missing after his van was discovered stuck in the snow has been found and then subsequently arrested.

The Register-Guard reports that after the man’s van became stuck in the snow he made his way to Cottage Grove. The van was discovered stuck on Sunday and sheriff’s deputies couldn’t find the driver in the area on Monday or Tuesday.

Because it is a wooded area with snow, authorities were concerned for Rosenberg’s well-being and asked for the public’s help Tuesday in locating him.

He was found safe and unharmed by the elements but was booked into the Lane County Jail on warrants out of Curry County.
