Health Worker Report

The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.

In December, the Nursing Commission ended probation for registered nurse Robert John Wattez.

In December, the Psychology Board charged psychologist Christopher K. Johnson with unprofessional conduct. Charges indicate Johnson provided a substandard patient evaluation, delayed submitting another patient’s evaluation, and created a dual relationship with a patient by evaluating the patient to form an expert opinion for use in litigation while treating that same patient instead of referring the patient to another provider for treatment.

In December, the Nursing Assistant Program charged certified nursing assistant Russ T. Wilson with unprofessional conduct. In 2015, Wilson was convicted of third-degree assault — domestic violence.
