Letter: Removing signs is a courtesy

By Tina St. John, Vancouver

I know there are many important problems in the world, in our nation, in our state, and in our county. But in the end, common courtesy — thinking about how our actions affect others — is a unifying thread.

So if you’re having a garage sale and tape signs all over your neighborhood, please have the courtesy to come back after your sale is over and take down your signs. That’s all — a simple request.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
