Hubb, a Vancouver startup that helps provides event-planning software for big events and conferences, was selected by Seattle Angel Conference as the winner of its most recent investment program. Hubb, launched four years ago, will receive an investment of $155,000.

Seattle Angel Conference is an ongoing event in which angel investors create an LLC, engage in due diligence and pool funds to invest in one or more of the presenting finalists. It holds two competitions each year, each with a four-month vetting period for applicants.

Seattle Angel Conference has invested $1.8 million in 19 startups and trained 190 first-time angel investors. Hubb’s selection was announced Thursday.
