TUALATIN, Ore. — A father and his two young sons were rescued Saturday after their canoe submerged in the Tualatin River.

Members of the Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue and others responded to reports that three people had fallen out of their canoe after it went under water near Cook Park in Tigard.

The three made their way to a riverbank in Tualatin, where they were picked up by rescue crews. All three were wearing life vests.
