Letter: Community event made a splash

I want to thank the Water Resources Education Center for celebrating their 20th anniversary by having the “Splash Back 20” event. The trio band they had playing was nice. Delicious food was provided by several restaurants. The volunteer staff at the work stations were very informative. The Friends of Trees were giving away native plants. There was even a slide show going for the various events the center puts on every year. Also, thank you to those businesses that provided gift certificates for the drawings.

I hope the Water Resources Education Center considers having an event like the Splash again next year.
