Letter: Trump is best choice

I couldn’t disagree more with your Oct. 24 editorial, “In Our View: Dismissing Democracy — Trump’s claims of ‘rigged’ system prove he cares more about his ego that U.S.” I don’t know if the writer knows what the Bible says about judgment, but this piece is full of judgments, claiming to know what is in Donald Trump’s mind.

Yes, the system is rigged. Thousands of dead people vote. Why not report the dirt about Hillary Clinton, the repeated lies she told, on camera, about classified documents being sent from her private server as confirmed by FBI Director Comey? She dismissed it with “I made a mistake” — a “mistake” that would have landed anyone else in jail.

You could research the previous life of Trump and find out about the many good and humanitarian things he has done with no fanfare.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
