Felida church collecting items for children worldwide

Felida — A local church will serve as a drop-off station for the Samaritan’s Purse project Operation Christmas Child. Samaritan’s Purse is a Christian ministry group that works to aid people around the world. Operation Christmas Child asks people to donate shoeboxes full of school supplies, hygiene items, notes of encouragement and toys for children in need. Clark County residents to can drop off shoeboxes to Felida Bible Church, 3027 N.W. 119th St., Vancouver, from Nov. 14-21. Donations will be accepted from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 14, 16, 18 and 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 15 and 17, from 1 to 6 p.m. Nov. 20 and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 21.
