Letter: Thanks for supporting veterans

It rained on our Veterans Day parade Saturday, but that didn’t daunt the spirit, the pride and the patriotism of the community. The sea of umbrellas attested to this dedication of both participants and spectators — thank you for standing in the rain to salute and commemorate the veterans who paid the ultimate sacrifice and those serving to preserve our country’s freedom.

Bless you and thank you.
