Letter: Protesters show hypocrisy

By Robert Wattez, VANCOUVER
Published: November 15, 2016, 6:00am

I was not a Donald Trump supporter and didn’t vote for him, but the mass protests across our country and downtown Portland are uncalled for. Why? Because when Trump was making claims that the “system is rigged,” Hillary Clinton’s supporters were shouting loud and clear that Trump needs to honor the election process and accept its results. But now that Clinton has lost what are her supporters doing? Not accepting the election process or its results. Very hypocritical and maybe one of the many reasons she lost.
