Robber strikes bank near Vancouver Mall

At 1:33 p.m., Vancouver Police Department responded to a report of a bank robbery at Wells Fargo, 8211 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive.

Initial investigation, according to a release from the department revealed a white male walked into the bank and asked for a bag of money while implying he had a weapon, although one was not displayed.

A bag was handed to the suspect, and he fled from the bank.

He was wearing a ski cap and all black clothing.

This is an active investigation and no other information will be released as this time, according to the release.
